A. No homestay is like staying in the home with the hosts. There is a social element where you can mingle with the hosts, talk to them about their life, their culture, tradition and history.

A. This is about 210Kms from
Bangalore, 110Kms from
Mysore, 200Kms from Mangalore & Calicutt and 100 Kms from Talichery.
Q. How long would it take from
Bangalore by Car?
A. Assuming a halt of half hr, you can reach Gonikoppal in 4-4.5 hrs. Make sure you start early in the morning to beat the weekend traffic.
Q. Is it safe for while driving from Bangalore/Mysore?
A. Yes. The road is wide and smooth and has a divider in between. So night drive too is safe. Watch out for the road blockers in the towns.
Q. What type of food can i get at VJ Holidayz?
A. Mostly Coorgi traditional cuisine which is made of rice. The traditional food also includes special veg and no-veg Coorgi curries. You can also expect Chapati's, Biryani etc. The breakfast will have bread, butter, Jam, Cereals, Omlette, Rice Chapati's etc.
Q. Coorgi pork seems to be a very special and a know non-veg delicacy of Coorg. Can i expect pork to be serverd?
A. Yes. Pork is indeed a speciality of Coorg and is a very tasty delicay. Make sure you inform us in advance or while booking.
Q. Can i get short eats in between meals?
A. Yes. If there are special needs, we recommed that you inform us in advance. Else you can inform us on a daily basis during your stay
Q. Can transport be arranged for local sight seeing?
A. Yes. We can arrange a local taxi or cabs for you. You would be paying the travel agency directly.
Q. Can you help us plan our itenary?
A. Yes. Depending on what time you arrive and the duration of your stay we can recommend.
Q. Is there options of water and other sports around your homestay?
A. Yes. There are water sport, paraglyding activities available. Call us in advance if you want more information about this.
Q. Does the area have mobile connectivity and internet access?
A. Yes. You can be reachable on your mobile. The estate does not have internet access but is available in the town.
Q. Can I cancel my booking once i have booked?
A. Yes, we understand. Life is challenging and full of surprises. Altough it would be a disappointment of not having the pleasure to meet you, we hope to see you next time.
